DIGS (Drive-over Intake Guards) are a new way to protect your tile surface inlets from crop residue plugging, animal entry and field equipment damage

DIGS unique design installs flush with the soil surface allowing certain farm equipment such as planters, grain drills and equipment wheels and tracks to roll over them without damage to the inlet.

These farmer-designed Drive-over Intake Guards allow planting or seeding over them without having to turn out or lift. They eliminate the need to remove typical above-ground guards so that the guards won’t be damaged, be destroyed, or damage farm equipment or tires.

DIGS are easy to install. For a six-inch inlet, simply remove about the top six inches of soil with a spade around the top of the inlet and step the DIGS down over the top of the tile. Replace soil back around the DIGS.

DIGS are constructed out of heavy-gauge steel and dip painted to last for many years without damage from rust or field equipment.
